Fibromyalgia is a chronic disorder characterized by:
- musculoskeletal pain
- fatigue
- weakness
- tenderness in localized areas of the neck, spine, shoulders, and hips sometimes referred to as tender points or pressure points
- muscle spasms
- sleep disturbances
- irritable bowel syndrome
- and other body disturbances.
