This is another comic featuring Thera Pist. When Pammy dons her gray suit and assumes her counter identity, you can be assured that something's inspired her to go to work as an Observational Therapist.

Background: I'm a writer, but I am also disabled because of chronic illness. So, I guess it only makes sense that once I created a comic strip about writing (Writing Woes), I'd get ideas for comics about "Chronic Illness Realities," too. What you view here are the results of that inspiration.

Thera Pist takes another look at a situation, this time a quote from the NBC pre-closing ceremonies interview of Sam Sullivan, mayor of Vancouver, BC, Canada, host city for the next Olympics. "Some people look at disability as a tragedy; I look at it as a career move."

Notes: Sam Sullivan has "founded several non-profit organizations that have benefited thousands of people with significant disabilities across North America, including the Tetra Society which recruits technically-skilled volunteers to create assistive devices for people with disabilities (30 chapters throughout North America), and the Disabled Sailing Association which provides opportunities for people with disabilities to sail (20 chapters in North America; link is to the BC chapter)." Modified images on the televisions are from screenshots of the NBC broadcast of the 2006 Olympics Closing Ceremonies.
