Help Change the Status of The National Pain Care Policy Act

Because of fear of regulatory or legal action, many doctors are hesitant to prescribe treatment for pain. According to The CFIDS Association of America, a bill that attempts to remedy that situation is currently stalled in committee. The National Pain Care Policy Act (H.R. 1863) already has the support of sponsor Michigan Representative Mike Rogers and 42 other members of Congress.

Work is under way by The American Pain Foundation and Partners for Understanding Pain to get the bill moving again.

You can read the entire bill here.

To get actively involved, The CFIDS Association of America invites you to click on the Capitol Building icon on the Grassroots Action Center Web site and use the forms there to contact your representative.
