Fibromyalgia is a chronic disorder characterized by:
- musculoskeletal pain
- fatigue
- weakness
- tenderness in localized areas of the neck, spine, shoulders, and hips
sometimes referred to as tender points or pressure points
- muscle spasms
- sleep disturbances

Fibrohugs is an online support group site for those who suffer from Chronic

Our FM/CFS World Inc.
A nonprofit organization maintained by sufferers of Fibromyalgia and Chronic
Fatigue Immune Deficiency Syndrome. The group's mission is to improve the
quality of life for fellow sufferers, while increasing public, governmental
and medical awareness of these diseases. Their fundraising efforts are to
support research for the cause, treatment, and cure of Fibromyalgia and
Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

Postural Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS)
Information on this disorder, which is caused when a patient has a pulse rate
that is too fast when the patient stands. Symptoms include headache, rapid
heartbeat, lightheadedness with prolonged standing, chronic fatigue, chest pain,
and other nonspecific complaints. Many diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
and/or Fibromyalgia also suffer from this disorder. |
